Ladies and Girls, meet the complete Airush 2016 Diamond Collection designed just for you.
As the first of the female specific 2016 products to launch (yes we know it is still July but we don’t care) we are giving it our full attention.
So have a look over the next few pages to get all of the details.
The Kite
Airush tell us it is…
• Versatile female-specific performance
• Wide wind range
• Short bar throw with light bar pressure
The Diamond Kite features a refined profile and balanced configuration that appeals to a broad level of users, from performance freestyle and wave riding while still being stable and user friendly enough for intermediate riders.
The unique shape is light on the bar, with a short bar throw so that even the lightest of riders can easily get the kite to the edge of the window in stronger conditions.
The Diamond Series kite features Technoforce D2 by Teijin in conjunction with the Airush Load Frame, giving any female rider an insanely durable kite that will last them season after season.
We are telling you that it is…
• Available in 5.5m, 7m, 9m & 12m
• It is a do anything kite and unless you know that you demand a hardcore c-kite (in which case they offer the excellent Razor) it is most likely the kite for you.
We also like their girly colours without a single mention of pink. …the purple and grey combination looking great.
The Bar
Airush tell us that it is…
• Shorter Bar throw for easier reach.
• Smaller depower loop to keep the bar closer.
• Narrower grip for smaller hands.
We looked closely at the specific needs of female kiters and developed the Diamond Bar, focusing on a more compact control setup, keeping the depower easily within reach, which is absolutely necessary while riding comfortable and safely. In addition the narrower grip featured on the AP Bar also suits smaller hands.
We are telling you that it is…
• Shorter perhaps but not really shorter than a standard bar
• Smaller loop and grip for our smaller frames
• A quality bar which does the job
The Board
Airush tell us that it is…
• Softer Flex for smaller riders.
• Narrower Stance for smaller riders.
• Reduced weight for smaller riders.
The Diamond board is geared for all-around female riders. In developing our female-specific product range we worked closely with PKRA contender Bruna Kajiya, to create a board that offers perfect all-round performance for the lighter rider.
The combination of softer flex pattern, narrower relative outline, reduced weight and narrower stance are all oriented towards the female rider. This is combined with our most progressive rocker, bottom shape and construction.
We are telling you that it is…
• Available in 131x38cm and 134x40cm sizes
• The larger size is big enough to ride with boots unless you happen to be very tall.
Bruna says…
I would recommend the 134 for most women riding straps or boots. The 131 is ideal for quite petite women under 50kg who wish to have something that can perform under their feet – unlike getting a smaller guys board which are insanely stiff, awkward stance, and width.
The board is versatile and rides well with both freeride straps and wakestyle boots. It was designed for freeride but I ride Boots most of the time and it works perfectly. For the Boots I usually use a stance bigger then what I use for riding straps and freeriding.
So there you have it, ..the complete Airush range for girls.

BUT WAIT, …that’s not all. …click to the next page to find out why…
We all know that providing you don’t have very small feet then you can fit the smallest size of mens boots (US6-7) so if a company brings out new boots, …then we let you know about them.
So here they are, ..the AP Boot and the Reefer Boot. We really like the style and think they are a huge improvement visually on last years model.
