We all have our own dreams to chase
Annelous Lammerts and Isabelle Schipper share the same dream of being a professional kiteboarding athlete and competing with the best girls in the world. The whole idea of creating their own business started because kiteboarding is not yet an olympic sport. This means they get no financial support and with the financial situation it’s difficult to get good sponsors.
The World Championship counts 10 different stops all over the world, with places like Panama, Brasil and China the travel costs are high. For training they have to find windy places, and travelling towards that places is also expensive.
So they started the SiS (Sea is Snow) initiative, a sustainable company making beanies and headbands where all the materials they use are recycled or produced with respect for nature.
